Digg is bringing back version 3 features because of the uproar from its user base. Let’s see if Sphinn will do the same. Danny Sullivan jokingly Tweets that: “in its next rollback, Digg brings back 2006, when it was popular and loved” The decision was made after taking a survey, er, vote… gulp.
I doubt the brands of these advertisers will be hurt but it does seem there should be some way to suppress dumb ads from showing. Of course, why was someone searching for used toilet paper in the first place? Perhaps the person was burned by paid search once and has a bias 🙂
